Containers Of Rosewood Impounded At Tema Port Not For My Client - Lawyer Reacts

The legal team of an alleged accomplice in the impounded rosewood at the Tema Port has stated that their client who was cited as the importer of the wood is false and has nothing to do with it and is not a consignee.

According to the legal team of the Felisco Sun Company Limited, thirteen containers, six of which have been confirmed to be carrying rosewoods and were impounded at the Tema Port on Friday, August 27, 2021, their client has no businesses or whatsoever to do with its importation.

Leader of the legal team, lawyer John Agbotey, ESQ. Called on the Police to investigate this matter to its logical conclusion and punish those found guilty of this offence and be prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others.

The Deputy Minister of Lands Natural Resources, Mr. Benito Owusu-Bio over the week at a press conference attributed the owner of the container to Felisco Sun Company limited.

Lawyer John Agbotey ESQ. Said the company would take steps to clear and redeem its name and image through legal action against those who are involved in these criminal and defamatory activities.
