PICTURES: Northern Region Rugby Players, Technical Team Model In New Kit From Colin Osborne

Players and Coaches from the Northern Region Rugby Association have unveiled new jerseys donated to them by Technical coach Colin Osborne.

This was done when the players and the coaches in the region took time out to model the new kit ahead of the start of the new rugby season.

Mr. Osborne, a top rugby Technical Director based in the United Kingdom donated to the association brand new sets of jerseys as part of his contribution towards the development of rugby in Ghana.

The Wimbledon Rugby Club Coach, who has been one of the team behind the technical development of rugby coaches in Ghana, donated the eye-catching jerseys after a global plea for support made by the President of Northern Ghana Rugby Association Ms. Rafatu lnusah.

Mr. Osborne raised the awareness in the United Kingdom Rugby fraternity and was aided by them with the donation of kits.

The items donated include both new and old sets of rugby paraphernalia consisting of jerseys, boots, cones, head gear, rugby shirts and shorts, shoes, leggings, caps and ball bags.

The Regional Director of the National Sports Authority - Tamale Madame Salamatu Alhassan, players and coaches of the association in the region, expressed their gratitude for putting smiles and hope in them after modeling in their New Jersey’s to Mr. Collin Osborne, the donors, Ms. Rafatu Inusah and the indefatigable President of Ghana Rugby Mr. Herbert Mensah, without whom, none of this level of generosity would have been attained.
