A competition is under way on Twitter to come up with the best memes of an image of Guinea's dishevelled-looking President Alpha Condé after the military overthrew him in a coup on Sunday.

The photo of the 83-year-old was circulated widely after he was captured by soldiers.

In it Mr Condé, who is surrounded by armed soldiers, is barefooted and slouched on a sofa with his shirt buttons open and vest showing.
