Deputy National Organiser of the largest opposition Natuional Democratic Congress(NDC), Chief Nixon Hamilton Biney, has asked President Akufo-Addo to apologise to the the Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area, Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V.

According to him the President showed gross disrespect in his response to the Paramount Chief who called on his government to complete the E-Block the erstwhile John Mahama government started in his area.

"President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo showed gross disrespect in his response to the Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area, Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V. This was the same Chief he visited in 2016 to call for his support and that of his people before he became president . . . " he wrote on his facebook wall.

Torgbui Adzonu-Gaga Amenya Fiti V, the Aflao Chief made this demand among others during a tour of the Volta Region by the Minority members on Parliament's Education Committee.

He said the President must apologize with alacrity or be ready for same procedure from the subjects of the Chief and the good citizens of Ghana.

Mr President, you must apologise with alacrity or be ready for same procedure from the subjects of the Chief and the good citizens of Ghana. If there are wise men around the President, then they must do the needful as soon as possible because as a country we can't afford to throw away our values and culture." he posted on his facebook wall Monday morrning.
