“NDC Lies Collapsed Yaw Kyei’s Business” – Nana B

The National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye has recounted how the opposition NDC Communications ‘propaganda’ machinery caused has caused the collapse of a business belonging to one Yaw Kyei from Kwame Danso in Bono Region.
 
In a panel discussions on Asɛmpa FM ‘ƐKOSII SƐM’ political show, Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye popularly know as Nana B in a very sad mood narrated amidst tears in his eyes how the NDC ‘Propaganda’ Team in the Kwame Danso area walking about with a megaphone persuading residence to go and withdraw their savings on ‘MOMO’ Wallet to avoid the government E-LEVY TAX.

Nana B, who is likely to succeed Mr. Sammy Awuku as the next National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party, narrated how the statement “Aban ɛbɛgye mo sika a ɛwɔ mo ‘phone’ so nyinaa, Nana Addo si, sesia deɛ, ɛkɔm de no nti, ɔba abɛgye nenyinaa” (Nana Addo’s government is hungry to the extent that, he is going to ‘steal’ from your mobile money wallet) forced Kwame Kyei to lose his livelihood.

According to Nana B, Kwame Kyei is a young but promising entrepreneur who deals in petting trading (Sells Provisions) and operates from a Kiosk and orders his goods from one ‘Opanin Donyina’ in the Techiman Market and pays via his ‘MOMO WALLET’ without necessarily traveling from Kwame Danso to Techiman Market.

“One faithful morning, Kwame Kyei upon hearing the announcement from the NDC sponsored campaign against the yet to be introduced E-LEVY TAX that, the NPP government is planning to tax MOMO transactions and reduce the money on their wallet, left him in fear and thereby rushing to a Mobile Money Vender nearby to withdraw his hard earn savings of Ghc 1,800.00 just to avoid the alleged ‘stealing’ from his wallet by government.” Nana B said.

Kwame Kyei withdrew the money which he usually sit in the comfort of his shop and order his wares from Techiman market avoiding the risk of traveling long hours and rather save time and energy and then also make some sales on the day he anticipate the arrival of his Milo, Sugar, Milk, ‘Alewa’, etc to boost his business decided to travel with the ¢1,800 and his mobile phone in his pocket to Techiman Market and bring the wares by himself.

The promising entrepreneur but unlucky Kwame Kyei, lost his his money and phone to the waiting ‘pickpockets’ at the Techiman market before he arrived at ‘Opanin Donyina’s shop.
