International Women’s Day: Ghanaian Women Remain Pillar Of Our Economy-Lawyer Justin Kodua Showers Praises

General Secretary hopeful for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) who doubles as the Chief Executive Officer for the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua says Ghanaian women have contributed immensely to the economy as well as the peace and stability of the country.

Using the occasion of International Women’s Day, lawyer Frimpong Kodua said Ghanaian women deserved a special mention as they comprised the fastest-growing segment of the labour force and their changing roles in any endeavour came with promotion, prosperity and success.

“The world marks the International Women's Day today, and on this great occasion, I wish to applaud our gallant, hardworking and illustrious women all over the world for working tirelessly as mothers, home-makers, workers, managers and politicians to contribute to the greater socio-economic wellbeing of the family and society at large.

“I wish to extend my sincerest commendation to women, particularly our Ghanaian women, for your diligence, determination, resilience and support through thick and thin. Our women have been fantastic in their contribution to the Ghanaian economy as well as peace and stability in the country. And they deserve special mention”, he stated in a press statement copied to Peacefmonline.com.

He added that the value of Ghanaian women in the national endeavour was huge and very striking. He believed that women especially Ghanaian women held the forte of the country in the midst of all the challenges.

“I wish to seize this opportunity to remind our women that your hardworking has helped to sustain our economy and your support has helped to confront the challenges of the time with hope. As we celebrate women, may the International Women's Day bring peace, harmony, joy and prosperity in the lives of our Ghanaian women particularly, and women everywhere on the globe”, he showered praises on women.
