The New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Wednesday said it has taken notice of proceedings on the floor of Parliament regarding a statement allegedly made by Mr Amankwah Asiamah, Member of Parliament for Fanteakwa. The NPP said the statement was made on an Accra based radio station last Monday. A statement signed by Mr Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, Member of Parliament for Suame and Minority Leader in Accra said �The party believes that the words and meaning of the MP�s statement has been twisted.� �An investigation by the Privileges Committee of Parliament or any other body would establish this fact. In the meantime if the statement by the MP has given offence to MP�s or any other person, the party unreservedly apologises,� the statement added.
