Qatar World Cup: Don't Exploit Black Stars' Qualification To Build 3-Bedroom Houses - Lecturer Warns Authorities

Ghana has qualified for the 2022 World Cup which will be held in Qatar and the joy of the players and the masses is overwhelming.

The Black Stars players, technical and management team on Wednesday, March 30, met with the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the Flagstaff House where the President congratulated the team for their impressive performance and victory over the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the second leg of the World Cup Qualifiers.

As the team preps for the World Cup, Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah, a Governance Lecturer at the Central University, is also warning the Ghanaian football authorities not to exploit this opportunity of qualifying for the world tournament to enrich themselves.

''We are all happy that we've qualified but no one should make his/her mind to build a three-bedroom house off this qualification'', he warned.

He also advised the team management to maintain the players and not call up new ones while those who have sacrificed to make Ghana proud are disregarded.
