Social Commentator, Bernard Allotey Jacobs has predicted another defeat in elections for his former political party, the National Democratic Congress.

According to Allotey Jacobs, looking at the character of some members of the party and the way the party is misbehaving, the NDC is doomed to suffer another humiliating defeat.

Taking a swipe at the party leaders who joined the Arise Ghana demonstration that commenced on Tuesday, June 28 and which turned violent as the protesters pelted stones at the Police who also retaliated with tear gas and water cannons, the former NDC Central Regional Chairman sent a strong-worded message to the leadership of the NDC saying "if you don't organize your party very well and you believe in demonstration that you will organize people to take to the streets, you will lose elections again!"

He was alarmed that the party's leaders in the persons of the NDC Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketia and Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo who were part of the leaders of yesterday's demonstration and the NDC, itself, haven't yet learned their lessons.

To him, if the party had learned any lessons, the leaders wouldn't have encouraged and entertained any kind of violence during the demonstration.

"...I don't know why the leadership of the NDC is not learning from its past mistakes...you are having some kind of elements within the NDC leadership that what they believe is violence, but will they achieve success in that?" he expressed his disappointment.
