As part of political innovation and ensuring both physical and psychological welfare of members, a National Youth Organizer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Fusani Yakubu Abanga popularly known as NPP Abanga is set to launch a welfare package to all Youth Organizers and their deputies.

The welfare package of an amount of Ghc 50,000 to the youth organizers and their deputies who are in critical illness, accidents which leads to disabilities in any form and death of a member respectively.

An additional amount of Ghc 50,000 to the family which could be used to set up a business to cater for the children of any member who untimely and accidentally die in the discharge of party duties.

Speaking with the Chronicle in an exclusive interview prior to the historical launch, the likely incoming National Youth Organizer averred that, he would not wait to win the election before he comes out with the welfare package but he is providing it before he gets to office as National Youth Organizer.

NPP Abanga who was born at Boinso a village in Enchi in the Western North Region and had his basic education at King of Kings Junior High School at Boinson_Enchi indicated that, the welfare of every member in a given group is paramount and it is against this background that people who aspire to be leaders mostly talk about welfare packages for their members.

The former student of Okomfo Anokye Senior High School where he obtained West African Senior High School Certificate is of the conviction that it is of utmost relevance to provide formal welfare packages for the youth wing he aspire to lead.

“It is sad to witness youth organizers and their deputies going through difficult times when in critical illness and some lose their lives because they do not have enough money to cater for health expenses, people involved in accidents as they embark on political activities which has made them incapacitated and neglected, others have died and their families after receiving donation at their funerals are suffering” he added

The hard working young alumni of University of Ghana, Legon where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Archeology continued that “this policy is something of much relevance and he encourages all youth organizers to join him with the policy launch and vote massively for him”

The NPP will hold its national annual delegates conference at the Accra Sports Stadium from Friday, July 15 to July 17, 2022, and elect National Executive Officers of the party.

Even before the insurance scheme materialized, the Youth Organizers and their duties are singing the praises of the young man as they described the initiative as one in its kind in the political environment.

An earlier research conducted by the Research Bureau of the Presidency tipped Abanga Yakubu Fusani to emerge the winner after the polls.

According to our sources at the Presidency, out of the 16 regions, NPP Abanga will win nine (9) out of the 16 regions and attain a good number of votes within the others to beat his compatriots in the elections.

The research was conducted using the entire delegate population who would be voting for the National Youth Organiser on the 16th of July, 2022. All delegates to vote were queried without bias and favour. The results therefore show a true outcome of what may happen on the day of the election.

Delegates considered the abilities, competences, and commitment of candidates for helping the youth. Candidates with good messages topped the chat as they felt those policies would help them and the party at large, and it was here that NPP Abanga was chosen to be the overall winner after the elections.

The incoming National Youth Organizer has Certificate in Law and Governance, Certificate in Administration and Management and a Certificate in Petroleum,Oil and Gas from Ghana Institute of Management Public Administration (GIMPA).

He has obtained a Diploma in International Business Strategy from Scottish Qualification Authority (SQA). He is a certified manager with the Chartered Management Institute He is a Master’s In Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom.
