Let's Do The Necessary; Whether Aisha Huang Has To Be In Prison Or Deported Again - Ayeh-Paye

Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayensuano constituency, Samuel Ayeh-Paye says Aisha Huang must face the full rigors of Ghana's laws without mercy or favor.

He noted that Aisha Huang's deportation may not have followed due process, hence giving her the leeway to return to Ghana.

Until recently news broke out about the resurface of the galamsey queen, Ghanaians were living under the impression that she had been deported to China but the reality was she was residing in the Ashanti Region, Ghana, where she continued her illegal mining activities.

Aisha Huang was arrested again together with three accomplices; Johng Li Hua, Huang Jei and Huaid Hai Hun and has been slapped with two charges which are mining without licence, engaging in the sale and purchase of minerals without a valid licence.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" morning show, Samuel Ayeh-Paye advised that Aisha Huang should be imprisoned when found guilty of the charges.

"If she has to be sent to prison, we must do it. If she has to be deported again for some reason, let's do the necessary requirements; her finger prints, passport and so forth, the things that will make it difficult for her come back to the country."
