Report from Enchi in the Aowin Municipality of the Western North Region indicates that four people have been killed while several others have sustained various degrees of injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Enchi Government hospital.

The clash according to UTV's Kwabena Dickson, is in connection with the intense alleged chieftency issue between two factions in Enchi.

Some youth wilding guns and matchets have created intense fear and panic among the people in the town especially businessmen and women.

Few weeks ago, the same issue led to an attack of some person's which led to the injury of some actors in the chieftency issue.

When Kwabena Dickson got in touch with the Paramount Chief of Aowin Traditional Council, Nana Bey33man Tano Kwaw Benbu ll, he confirmed of hearing of some persons dead but couldn't ascertain the cause.

"I am currently at the police station writing my statement, I have heard some persons are dead but can't confirm the number of people. I was in my palace when I had a call that some persons want to attack and kill me . . ." Nana Bey33man Tano Kwaw Benbu ll told UTV's Western North Regional Correspondent.

Several attempts to get in touch with the Enchi Divisional Police Command has proved futile.
