On Valentine’s Day, Ghana Post honoured the Vice Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Prof Rita Akosua Dickson, for her contributions to academia and her continuous business with Ghana Post.

In a brief ceremony at KNUST campus, the MD of Ghana Post, Bice Osei Kuffour, indicated that the management of Ghana Post honoured Prof. Dickson as an appreciation of her loyalty to Ghana Post by sustaining the over 15 years of business relations between the two institutions.

He added that KNUST is one of Ghana Post’s top customers in the Ashanti Region, and for the past 15 years, the Ghana Post Offices have been selling admission forms and sending transcripts on behalf of KNUST.

In her response, Prof Dickson expressed gratitude to Ghana Post for the kind gesture. She noted that the Ghana Posthads played a to bridge the gap between the public and KNUST.

She recommended the management of Ghana Post for the innovations and advised them to continue to make customer service a priority.

The special Ghana Post delivery team, consisting of Kumawood Stars, Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, aka Dr Likee, and Matilda Asante, delivered a giant portrait to Lady Julia, the wife of Otumfuo Osei II.

The team showed love in branded Ghana Post costumes to Ejisuhemaa Nana Yaa Asantewaa, Asante Mamponghemaa Nana Agyakomaa Difie, Nana Akua Arkoh, mother of Dr Osei Kwame Despite and other loyal customers of Ghana Post.

In February, Ghana Post, through its Vals on Wheels Promo, promises to serve Ghanaians with heavily discounted rates. The charges for delivery within the campus are 10gh cedis, vendors 25gh, Accra 30gh and 20gh for Kumasi. Last year, the Vals on Wheel Promo enabled many Ghanaians to send gifts of love to partners, family, and friends.

According to the Managing Director of Ghana Post, Bice Obour Osei Kuffour, Ghana Post is aware of global economic challenges.

Therefore, through the Vals on Wheels promo, Ghana Post is sensitive to the plight of Ghanaians, hence the heavily discounted fees.
