Shock As Sunderland Put Up Asamoah Gyan For Sale

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is ready to sell star striker Asamoah Gyan after the Ghanaian hit mans name was circulated to clubs yesterday. According to a report in the Daily Mirror, an email was sent out to Englands top clubs over the availability of the in-form attacker. Sunderland are seeking to sell their most expensive player to enable them buy many players ahead of next season. Gyan could be sold in the summer to raise money for more new players even after the departure of Jordan Henderson to Liverpool in a 20 million deal. Sunderland set to land Gardner, Gibson, Ngog and more in massive summer shake-up. Gyans availability was flashed to leading Premier League clubs and outfits abroad as the surprise player in a list of for sale talent sent out by an agent close to the club. The Ghanaian strikers availability could interest clubs including Tottenham and Arsenal. This report in the UK newspaper comes even though Sunderland boss Steve Bruce just last week stated that he was not keen on selling his leading marksman.
