Konadu Campaign Car In Near Fatal Accident

One of the many brand new pick up vehicles by the Former first Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, to run her campaign has been involved in a near fatal accident. Details are not clear as to the number of casualties, and the Police are tight lipped on the issue. However, Citi News saw glaring evidence of blood stains all over the crashed Tata pick up with registration number GE 1117 - 11, suggesting the Atebubu crash, which occurred earlier this week, may have been deadly. Citi News spotted the badly damaged vehicle as the truck driver towing the pick up under the cover of darkness parked on the shoulders of the Tesano-Achimota road to take a short rest. The truck driver, who gave his name as Francis, said he was contracted to tow the vehicle from the Atebubu Police station, but declined to give further details. He also failed to disclose where he was taking the crashed pick up to. The campaign coordinator of the Konadu campaign team, Hon. Teye Nyaunu has confirmed the accident but however said he did not have details as to how the accident happened. The Lower Manya MP added that the injured victims were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
