Samuel Inkoom Excited To Captain Ghana Olympic Team

Defender Samuel Inkoom has spoken of his delight to captain Ghana�s Olympic team and insists they are favourites to qualify for the All Africa Games despite losing to Nigeria. The Black Meteors succumbed to a second half onslaught from the Dream Team V to lose 3-1 at Benin City on Saturday. The Dnipro defender, who wore the armband for the first time in the absence of Marseille winger Andre Ayew, was disappointed he marked it with defeat to rivals Nigeria. �It�s always a great pride to be captain of any of the national teams but unfortunately we lost ground in the first leg but we promise to bounce back,� Inkoom told Asempa FM �We have the men who will be capable of turning the scoreline in the second leg in our favour and we�re not going to lose concentration at all.� The ex-Basle player has given US$10,000 to his team-mate to serve as a morale booster ahead of the second leg in two weeks time
