Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has put all talks of his possible return to the Black Stars to rest by stating he is not interested in a comeback.
Pundits have been craving the recall of the Cesena star but the 30-year-old has explicitly stated rejoining the national team is not an option.
Popular sports administrator Isaac Tetteh was the latest to make a plea for his inclusion after dazzling in the Michael Essien Peace Charity match played in Accra two months ago.
�I don�t want to talk about the Black Stars. I�m not interested in a return. I have taken a decision and that is final,� Appiah said.
Appiah quit international football after the 2010 Fifa World Cup finals in South Africa last summer.
He received a Sports Writers Association of Ghana Award on Saturday night for his dedicated service to the Black Stars on Saturday night.
