Nana Addo Will Never Team Up With Disrespectful Boys Like Fifi Kwetey And Ablakwa

Anti-corruption campaigner and NPP Member of Parliament for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, Hon. P.C. Appiah-Ofori, has lashed out at critics who pooh-poohed the recently announced 35 member Campaign Committee of the New Patriotic Party as bereft of young blood. Last week, the New Patriotic Party issued a strong list of some 35 members to help the partys flagbearer Nana Akufo Addo in re-strategizing ways of unseating President Mills. However, there have been concerns that the team is composed of old men who have no new ideas or strategies to contribute to the partys campaign. Hon Appiah-Ofori insists that whiles members of the campaign committee are not that frail, the NPP will never follow the suit of the ruling party who have chosen to work with young men who command no respect like Deputy Minister of Information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. He argues that the Deputy Information Minister and Deputy Finance Minister, Fifi Kwetey have a penchant of hurling insults at their political opponent during debates. Many in the NPP will not allow Nana Addo to pick young men with character traits such as the deputy Finance MinisterIf you pick a disrespectful fellow who is not credible like Fifi Kwetey as your lead campaigner, he will obviously end up insulting delegatesin anger at his behavior it could force them (delegates) to vote against him, he said. Speaking in an interview with Adakabre Frimpong Manso on Adom FM, the outspoken NPP MP said the party is not discriminating against the youth, adding that the NPP will only offer roles to people who have the ability to deliver irrespective of age.
