Asamoah Gyan insists his foray into the music industry will not distract him from banging in goals for both club and country. The Sunderland hitman says he is very focused on his football career as music is only his hobby. The Ghana international striker has seen his popularity in the African music industry sour after releasing two chart topping singles. The Ghana�s latest release �Do the Dance� is topping the charts in various countries in Africa after his first attempt �Africa Girls� also made a similar impact. But Ghana football legend Anthony Yeboah and ex-Black Stars striker Felix Aboagye asked Gyan to quit the music industry claiming it will divert his attention. But Gyan insists he is not a musician, saying music is only his hobby. �I love music but it doesn�t mean I am not focused on the football,� he told the football magazine programme Oti Adjei Report, set to air on TV3 on Thursdays at 10pm. �I am very, very focused on the football. I am more concentrated on the football because the football made me who I am today. �I cannot joke with my job, that is out, because if you joke with your job, your job will joke with you. So I know all of this. �I ask what do the people expect from me? Goals � and I have been scoring for them, so I don�t understand the reason why. �That is their opinion. I am not a musician actually but I love music. �Talking about the European players, at their leisure time some of them play golf. I chose music. That doesn�t mean I am a musician.�
