Kofi Adams Has Breached NDCs Constitution - Quarshigah

Propaganda Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Richard Quashigah says Kofi Adams, Deputy General Secretary of the party stands in breach of the NDCs Constitution and Guidelines for Elections. According to him, if Mr. Adams continues to project himself as spokesperson for Nana Konadu on the issues bordering on the just ended Sunyani presidential primary, then he is in effect breaching the tenets of Article 40 of the partys constitution, more so when campaigning has ended. He chided Kofi Adams for his recent remarks describing them as unbefitting of a Deputy General Secretary of the party. Mr Kofi Adams who speaks for the Rawlingses and also doubles as the Deputy General Secretary of the NDC has been at the receiving end of some harsh words for his role in the campaign of Mrs Rawlings vis a vis his position in the party. He was key in campaigning for Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings who challenged President John Evans Atta Mills for the flagbearership slot of the party. Mrs Rawlings suffered a heavy defeat at the partys congress last Saturday, polling only 90 votes compared to 2,2771 by the President. The NDCs Dep General Secretary believes the just ended National Delegates Congress which saw the election of Professor Mills as the partys flagbearer to lead them into the 2012 General Polls was not free and fair; questioning the integrity of the delegates and registering his displeasure at the conduct of the process. He accuses some elements within the NDC of using money to entice the delegates to vote for President Mills.
