The Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zones Board (GFZB), Kojo Twum Boafo, has asked the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to either "put up or shut up" if they have nothing better to offer Ghanaians. Irritated by some NPP media commentators� negative analysis of the Sunyani Congress, Kojo Twum Boafo sneered at the opposition party�s decision to expand their Electoral College saying the "NDC would never be stampede� to do same. �We have expanded our delegates� base, right now; we have included ten people from every constituency. That is how we want to do it. We won�t increase it by a hundred thousand or a hundred and seventy thousand just so after everything we won�t be heading toward selling the properties our forefathers bequeathed to us," he said. To him, the NPP expanded their electoral base as a result of wild bribery and corruption allegations levelled against some of their leaders by their own party members. �During the race between the greedy sweet seventeen birds to hijack the presidency seat at Legon, huge amount of monies were spent and for this reason the party planned to expand their electoral base,� he maintained. He accused the NPP of being experts in slapping delegates during their congress. �The NPP is adept at slapping people and Paul Afoko is a victim�do you recall the dirty slaps he received at Legon�they only slap their own members during primaries," he said. The GFZB Chief Executive was derisive of the campaign strategy being embarked on by the NPP saying for a party which claims to have practiced politics for thirty years to now embark on a "listening tour" in order to know the concerns of citizens is indeed pathetic. "Whether it is Yutong bus, we have finished with the congress, even if it is phony express, or Goods Train�or further still�we are through with it. As the South Africans say "Kinaako", it is time for the NPP to either put up or shut up. They should go on their listening tour and listen to the concerns of Ghanaians," he added. He lauded the NDC for presenting itself as a strong election winning machinery during tensed contests for political power and warned the other opposition parties of a keener contest in 2012 saying �they should know that President Mills is charged like an Ever Ready Battery.
