Some candidates jostling for seats onto the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association are said to be involved in buying votes, GHANAsoccernet.com understands. A Ghana FA official who spoke on anonymity told GHANAsoccernet.com on Tuesday: �Delegates have spoken to me and confirmed that of the some candidates have paid them huge sums of monies to for their votes.� Olloboi Commodore, a contestant on the ticket of Division One side Sporting Mirren, confirmed by saying: �The issue has come to my concern but I want to tell the delegates that they should collect the money and vote according to their conscience.� Eleven aspirants have submitted their nominations to vie for six seats available to Premier League clubs. The list includes new faces; Emmanuel Kyeremeh (Club president Berekum Chelsea), JF Mensah (Ebusua Dwarfs), Medeama SC president Moses Armah Others are Kofi Manu (Aduana Stars), Emmanuel Owusu Ansah (Kotoko), Desmond Frimpong Manso (Heart of Lions) and Felix Ansong (Liberty Professionals) Fred Crentsil, who was elected five years ago under the ticket of Sporting Mirren, will contest as Hearts of Oak Chief Executive. Old members who have filed to contest include Kudjoe Fiano (AshGold), Jones Alhassan Abu (RTU) and Randy Abbey (Mighty Jets). The election is scheduled to take place on Wednesday 20 July at the Ghana FA secretariat. Twelve second-tier league contestants will battle for four seats with their election fixed for Thursday 21 July at the secretariat. They include old faces George Afriyie (Unity FC); Kingsley Osei Bonsu (Bechem United) and Ghana FA vice-president Fred Pappoe (Great Olympics). Others are Kwaku Eyiah (Tarkwa United) Wilfred Osei Parma (Tema Youth), Olloboi Commodore (Sporting Mirren), Joojo Duncan (Wise), Precious Cudjoe (Zaytuna) Delali Senaya (Inter Allies), Nana Adjei (Union Rovers), Peter Nimo (BA United) and Sports Journalist MacParadise Okocha (Tete Atenpong).
