Kevin-Prince Boateng Set To Clash With Jerome Boateng

Ghana midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng will clash with his brother Jerome Boateng of Bayern Munich on Tuesday for the first time since the World Cup. Kevin, who plays for Italian giants AC Milan, is part of the squad to play Bayern Munich in the Audi Cup in Germany. The tournament features some of the big teams in the world like Barcelona, Bayern Munich. AC Milan and But the engaging story of the Boateng brothers has dominated the media discussion ahead of the game and AC Milan star Van Bommel says the much maligned Kevin is a good guy. Van Bommel: I only know Kevin. He is really good and is underestimated in Germany. Hes a good guy. In the team hes my best buddy. The Boatengs made World Cup history last year when they become the first brothers to play against each other in the tournament. Jerome and Kevin-Prince Boateng share the same father and were inseparable throughout childhood, despite being brought up by their respective mothers in different households in Berlin. But while new Bayern signing Jerome chose to represent Germany, brother Kevin-Prince opted for Ghana, the country of their fathers birth, and fate will throw them together today when the two sides meet. Despite their closeness growing up and in their early playing careers, the Boateng brothers did not speak for a month before the World Cup, since Kevin-Princes poor tackle on Michael Ballack in the FA Cup Final ruled Germanys influential captain out of the World Cup. They are now back on talking terms and for sure the cameras will be flashing in tonights game.
