We Were Robbed Korak

Kotoko Head Coach Bogdan Korak insists his side lost to Division One campaigners Nania FC in the FA Cup due to poor officiating. Nania FC, being handled by former Ghana Skipper Abedi Pele, shocked Kotoko 1-0 during the extra-time in the FA Cup finals to book a place in the CAF Confederation Cup. Nania FC on the day looked the better side and they deserved the important win; but Kotokos Serbian trainer who sounded angry, thinks otherwise, insisting Referee Thomas Nunoo robbed his side. According to him, but for the help offered to Nania FC by the match officials, there was no way the Division One club could beat Kotoko. Coach Korak, about a fortnight ago, ordered the entire Kotoko team to leave the field after they had been beaten on penalties by Berekum Chelsea in the Presidential Cup. On that occasion too, Coach Korak lambasted the match officials for allegedly helping Chelsea to beat his team. But Nii Adjei Thinks Otherwise KOTOKOS CAPTAIN Daniel Nii Adjei doesnt share Coach Bogdan Koraks sentiments that Kotoko were robbed by the referee when they lost 1-0 to Nania FC in the FA Cup finals. Kotokos Serbian coach had stated categorically that his side lost to Abedi Peles Nania FC basically due to the bias shown by Referee Thomas Nunoo on the day. But in what seems to be a shot in the foot of his coach, Kotoko Skipper Nii Adjei said Kotoko were not robbed but rather they lost to a better side last Sunday. He said Nania FC won the big game on merit and nothing else, urging the teeming Kotoko family to accept the shocking defeat in good faith since it is part of football. Nii Adjei said playing against lower division clubs is always very difficult and Nania FC proved that on the day. He noted that Kotoko tried to win the game but their opponents were hard nuts to crack.
