He was arrested by the police through an informant who made a distress call to them. Kofi Adu Gyamfi told Daily Guide that he founded the Gonja cell in 2003 but left for Ivory Coast and returned to Ghana in March this year. The police found in their possession six cutlasses, four knives, an axe, a pair of scissors, a chisel, a bicycle chain, a purse and other weapons. It was gathered that Emmanuel Agyei Boateng, who is on bail for a similar crime, stabbed a six-year-old boy while one of them assaulted a popular Ghanaian actor in the area about five days ago.
