Fund Raiser Pulls Significant Resources For Retired Players

GH 44,000.00 was realised at a fund raising event on Saturday to support the plight of retired footballers in the country. However the absence of the vice President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama and officials of the Ghana Football Association at the event held at the Banquet Hall of the State House were most regretted by the retired players and organisers. We are very glad to have successfully organised this event but then the absence of the GFA here for me is very regrettable, ex national star Osei Kofi said. Life patron of Aduana Stars Osagyefo Agyemang Badu II, ex Ghana FA chairman Nana Sam Brew-Butter and Moses Armah of Medeama were some of the notable personalities who made contributions to the fund.
