Bugi-Bust Represents Ghana�At Malta Guinness Street Dance

Following a closely-contested Malta Guinness Street Dance Africa competition, Bugi-Bust Dance crew has emerged national winners and will represent Ghana at the upcoming Malta Guinness Street Dance Pan African Championship scheduled to take place on 5th August 2011 at the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre. Bugi-Bust was among 8 talented dance crews selected through a nationwide hunt for Ghana�s best street dancers during the March 2011 auditions. They then qualified into boot camp in Nigeria where they impressed the judges in a series of challenges and dance contests. Bugi-Bust was selected as one of two dance crews to qualify into the voting stage of the competition where Ghanaians were given the opportunity to select their favourite dance crew to the Pan African championships through SMS votes. Having come up tops with the highest votes, Bugi Bust dance crew will now have to battle for honours as they come face to face with Black LM from Cameroun, De Genesis Plus from Nigeria, Wapi-Wapi from Kenya, Kill Dance from Gabon, Dief Mix from Ivory Coast and Contagious from Tanzania who have arrived in the country and are currently in boot camp gearing up for the Malta Guinness Street Dance Pan African Championship. In the coming days Bugi- Bust must showcase their very best style and swagger to impress our well-known judges Dwayne Nosworthy of the United Dance Organization in the UK, Prudanse Maidou of Central African Republic and Mike Ross from East Africa.
