I'll Win The NDC Navrongo Central Primary By A Land Slide Woyongo

Mr Mark Woyongo, Upper East Regional Minister, has expressed optimism that he would win the NDC Parliamentary primary in the Navrongo Central Constituency by a land slide victory. He said his ultimate aim as a Regional Minister was to help the NDC to win all the 13 Parliamentary seats in the region and to ensure overwhelming victory in the 2012 presidential elections for the government to continue exerting good governance on Ghanaians. Mr Woyongo told the GNA in Navrongo on Monday that signs of victory for the NDC in 2012 were clear and that no constituency in the Upper East Region would make the mistake to vote for any Parliamentary or Presidential candidate other than those in the NDC. According to him, those contesting with him at the primary were only adding up to the numbers due to internal democracy saying, he would win by 97.3 per cent and would snatch the seat from the opposition NPP. He said development projects in the region were many and so enormous that voters would be casting Thank you votes in 2012 for the government to retain power to complete its Better Ghana agenda. He said the history of recent elections in Ghana indicated that every President does two terms and that seeing his good works, Ghanaians would not deny President Mills of two terms. Mr Woyongo said he had performed his duty as a regional minister creditably and that there were visible infrastructure development scattered across the region, which would serve as monuments and the legacy of NDC government. The most important thing for me now is to help the party win all the 13 parliamentary seats in the region including Navrongo Central, which is currently occupied by NPPs Joseph Kofi Adda, he said. He appealed to the rank and file of the NDC to unite and win power in 2012 convincingly to prove critics wrong saying, Let us learn from our Sunyani National Delegates Congress because that binds us together for victory in 2012.
