Godwin Attram Confirms FC Smouha Stay

Smouha FCs veteran Ghanaian striker Godwin Attram has ended speculations about his future by claiming he will stay with the Egyptian Premier League side. The 31-year-old has been the target of giants Al Ahly and Zamalek following riveting performances for Smouha last term. The former Ghana Under-17 captain had insisted in the past he will relish the opportunity to play for any of the top sides if they met his evaluation. Officials of Smouha have told the Ghanaian he remains an influential part of the teams plans for next season. Zamalek and Alhy were interested in me but Im not joining them or any other side because I want to see out my contract with Smouha, Attram said. I dont have challenges with the club either financially or in terms of regular playing time. I am comfortable at the club and will continue with them next season. He scored nine goals last term for Smouha which finished in the relegation zone but a FA provision meant no club will be relegated following an uprising which hit the North African country.
