Election 2012 Techno-Skeptic Not Techno-Phobic

I declare myself election techno-skeptic till post-election day 2012; not because I am election techno-phobic, my compatriots. I am just saying I have eaten enough salt and sugar, exhausting my God allocated quota of the latter, to know that technology is as good as it is bad. Those in doubt, go ask the gentleman who masterminded the invention of the atomic bomb. My profound skepticism derives from congresss persistent electricks. This biometric thing makes me feel nervous because there is no technology made by man or woman or both that cannot be manipulated by an evil mind such as characterises the congress species. See what the congress type church people are doing with the amplifiers and microphones other people developed for service without noise. The misguided neighbourly unfeeling moneymaking pastoral preacher clan is ignorantly or deliberately destroying vulnerable peoples tympanic membranes. They are causing congregations to, without awareness, become hearing impaired. Come to think of the fact that congregations include babies taken to church by mothers. Despicable, I will say. I cannot be techno-phobic when I have talked technology to the highest level global negotiation for Internet justice as well as used technology to produce and consume all manner of things and ideas. But I can also testify that on two occasions, I have been embarrassed and victimized by the money machine (Automated Teller Machine) at both south and north ends of the globe. Down under in Aussie land, an automated teller machine spat out $20 less what was recorded on the receipt while in Canuck country, another teller machine churned out $20 more. If you have heard about the Rupert Murdoch phone-hacking drama currently playing on world wide television (WWT) you will understand my concerns. And if you are the cynic who will say that is Britain, I will want to remind you that the Americans have waded in with their concerns too. Actually, rewind to December 2008 and early January 2009 and you will recall that Radio Gold, the congress lying machine, told everyone about patriotic conversations they had intercepted. Unashamedly, they peddled hacking Spacefon/Areeba now MTN (a phone company not the Manya hatchet man) to eavesdrop conversations among the patriotic party people. You can also see how they managed to manipulate a whole public broadcasting system into a congress propaganda machine at Sunyani. They are still operating like the coup days when they used to sit before the editing console at broadcasting house and ACTUALLY edited television news stories. Find out who is at the helm of the machine that controls the entire telephony system in the motherland and you will understand why I am so techno skeptic and techno nervous about the EC venturing into biometrics. In practical terms, I dont know the resources that the EC has to be able to efficiently execute a credible electoral register before December 7, 2012 where the National Identification Authority has failed to produce a card for my compatriots and me since 2006! With congresspeople who believe lying and cheating are the best campaign methods, I dont see how biometric registration will effectively check double registration, authenticate age and nationality as well as ensure integrity. I am very techno skeptic about that. We have seen too much misapplication, including the alleged MTN tapping saga to trust that congress will not manipulate anything electronic or biometric that has to do with elections. Now that they are sitting on the NCA, there cannot be any surety about that misapplication not occurring. Poor patriots; now they have to go a-combing the world for the good, the bad and the ugly of electronic registration to ensure the congress evil mind does not fiddle with the system to once again cheat the motherland. The patriotic ones have to go to Florida and go to Delhi and go to Abuja to identify loopholes and plug them before, like in 1992 and 2008, they are once again deprived of their right to succeed in 2012. Where they are going to find money to do that, I wonder. Congress, on the other hand, has all our oil money for manipulating the system to cheat. They are importing crude, finished fossil fuel products and exporting crude. They have our cocoa money in addition. And they are sitting tight on the real gold money. It is, indeed, an embarrassment of cheating riches. The e-voting path will be trodden. But let us assure ourselves that the system will not compromise fairness by allowing the born-to-cheat congress to steal elections and continue filling their cheeks, stomachs and any/everything that can be filled while stalling the motherlands development. Anyone or group of people, callous enough to threaten CCTV camera vote exposure, as congress did in Sunyani, will easily tamper with biometric records and processes.
