Koku Anyidoho Spits Fire: Threatens Peacefmonline

Director of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho, has threatened to personally deal with Peacefmonline.com for a publication he deems as vicious" and malicious regarding a building the president has accepted as a "token" from real estate developers, Regimanuel Gray Limited. According to him the publication which was put out by Peacefmonline, was a complete fabrication. He denied granting Peacefm News (it was with AdomFM) an exclusive interview; an inadvertent error which Peace FM has accepted and duly apologised for. During a press briefing at Asanfra Street in the Platinum section of the Regimanuel Gray Estates on the Spintex Road after leading a team of journalists from the Presidential Press Corps to tour the place, Koku Anyidoho was emphatic that the facility is an out-house for security personnel who may be on duty at the private residence of President Mills. According to him, security personnel manning the presidents private home on the Spintex Road, had neither a place for relaxation or washroom facilities, hence Regimanuel Gray decided to put up the outhouse which comprises toilets, bath houses and a bedroom or two' after the President first brought up the idea. Quite outraged at the publication put out by Peacefmonline, Koku Anyidoho vowed that they (peacefmonline) will soon hear from his lawyers for the total falsehood. After reading from a series of correspondence between the President and Regimanuel Gray on the construction of the facility, he summed up with the following. Gentlemen, this is it. Yet, peacefmonline creates the impression, puts out a total falsehood that I granted an interview to them saying that this is a gift from Regimanuel Gray. I never spoke to peacefmonline, never have on this matterThe facts speak for themselves and like I said, personally, I will deal with Peace FM and Peacefmonline, because I need to redeem my image on this matter. But as regards to His Excellency, The President, this is it, its obvious it is not a gift. Regimanuel Gray is bearing the initial cost and per the tenancy agreement, the president, would make good the repayment to Regimanuel Gray, he said at the press briefing. Indeed, peacefmonline has admitted the wrongful attribution and rendered an apology via the stations flagship programme, Kokrokoo. This notwithstanding, Peacefmonline.com still stands by the publication that the Director of Communications at the Presidency did say the building was meant as a token. It is surprising that Koku had all these facts about the tenancy agreement at his disposal, yet told AdomFM on Monday that you can call Regimanuel Gray people and they will tell you they themselves have decided to build this as a token for the president.
