GFA To Name Committees On Tuesday

Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi is expected to announce the appointment of persons onto the management committees of the various national teams on Tuesday, GHANAsoccernet.com has learnt. Nyantakyi promised to give the FA a new look and hence some casualties and other old members reassigned. It is widely reported that ex-Vice president Fred Pappoe will lose the chairmanship of the Black Stars management committee FA Emergency committee member Felix Ansong, ex-Ghana International Tony Baffoe and Okwahu United�s former director Kwame Ofosu Bamfo and vice-president Jordan Anagbla are touted as new faces on the Black Stars management committee. Sources also say Heart of Oak boss Fred Crentsil will be shifted to head the National Under-17 management team after supervising the Black Queens for the past five years. He is expected to bring his managerial skills to bear on the team as the country attempt to reclaim past glory. Unity FC owner George Afriyie is expected to head the Black Satellites committee after he previously worked as the chairman of the home-based national team. Former FA spokesperson Randy Abbey is been speculated as been rumored he could be replaced as Black Meteors management head. For the first time, the heads of the various committees will have a two-year renewable mandate which will be subject to their performance. Sources have revealed there is massive lobbying for positions on the various committees by some members of the Executive Committee and Tuesday�s announcement will put to rest the speculations.
