We Are Not Women... We Wont Surrender - Gaddafi

COLONEL Gaddafi yesterday threatened to let Libya BURN saying he would never give himself up. In an audio message, broadcast on Syrian TV, the toppled tyrant said: "We will not surrender. We are not women, and we are going to keep on fighting." His bloodthirsty rant continued: "Let there be a long fight, and let Libya be engulfed in flames." Gaddafi, speaking on the anniversary of his rise to power 42 years ago, said supporters must lay down their lives "even if you cannot hear my voice." He went on: "We will fight from town to town, valley to valley... they cannot rule the Libyan people, subjugate our tribes." His desperate rallying call, accompanied by a still picture of him in front of microphones, came after the RAF destroyed a massive barracks outside Bani Walid, south of capital Tripoli. It is where Gaddafi is rumoured to be hiding. Typhoons and Tornado GR4s unleashed a barrage of laser-guided Paveway bombs. Brit jets also hammered tanks and rocket launchers. HMS Liverpool sailed close to Gaddafi's hometown, port city Sirte, and fired "star shells" which lit up Gaddafi road blocks. Troops fled in panic.
