Former AngloGold Director Joins CSR Foundation

James Kwabena Anaman, former President of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, former Director of Corporate Affairs of Ashanti Goldfields Company, a renowned Corporate Affairs Consultant and Investor relations specialist, has joined the Council of Patrons of CSR Foundation Ghana. Mr. Anaman joins the illustrious Council of Patrons chaired by Dr. Joyce Aryee, a distinguished leader of business and industry and an advocate of CSR, George Blankson, commissioner-general of the Ghana Revenue Commission, Samuel Afari Dartey, chief executive officer of the Forestry Commission, Mr. Benjamin Aryee Chief Executive Officer of the Minerals Commission, Mrs. Nyamikeh Kyiameh Commissioner of National Insurance Commission and Mrs. Elaine Kwami, Public and Community relations and Human Resource Specialist. The Council is the apex body of the Foundation with advisory responsibilities. CSR Foundation Ghana has a Board of Trustees made up of Joseph Emmanuel Allotey-Pappoe, chairman, Willing Vanderpuije, vice chairman and Boahene Asamoah, Kweku Rockson, Mrs. Vicky Wireko-Andoh, Professor Robert Hinson and Mr. Byron Nana Taylor, chief executive officer, as members. A non-governmental corporate social responsibility organization � CSR Foundation Ghana, was set up by a corps of distinguished professionals, academics and researchers in the areas of Business, Public Relations, Marketing and CSR in Ghana. With the vision to create a society of CSR committed and compliant corporate citizens and individuals, the Foundation is to be the lead advocate for CSR and CSR-related activities in the country through a vigorous strategy of advocacy research, training, advice and awards.
