Coach - Kwarasey Will Remain My First Choice Goal Stopper

Ghanas Serbian trainer Goran Stevanovic has stated emphatically that until goalkeeper Richard Kingson lands himself a club, young Adambathia Larsen Kwarasey will remain his first choice goal stopper. In a pre-match press conference in the UK last Sunday, he stated that the young goalkeeper who plays for Stromsgodset in Norway, has proved beyond reasonable doubt that he is capable of replacing Ghanas number one, Kingson, if the latter hanged his gloves in future. Revelations from the UK press conference suggest that the Black Stars manager has now settled on the 24-year-old Kwarasey, born to a Ghanaian father and a Norwegian mother. Two days ago, he endeared himself to the millions of spectators who watched the Brazil-Ghana international friendly in London with his stellar performance. He pulled three goal-bound saves, which would have changed the score line of the game in which Brazil beat Ghana 1-0 despite their numerical advantage. The blunt forward of Swaziland failed to bring the best out of Kwarasey during his first senior international cap for Ghana, when the latter hosted the former at the Accra Stadium five days ago. Last July, Kwarasey was called up into the Ghana national team for the Ghana-Nigeria abortive friendly in London. Kingson, who has been Ghanas safest pair of hands- after playing in the last two World Cups- is currently unattached, making many faithful of the game to call for his immediate replacement.
