Youngster Waris gives Hacken a point in Sweden

Young Ghanaian striker Abdul Majeed Waris scored a world class goal to secure a point for Hacken in their 1-1 draw with Helsingborg in the Swedish League on Friday night. The 19-year-old opened the scoring after eight minutes for BK Hacken before veteran midfielder Mattias Lindstrom levelled for the visitors on 72 minutes. The former Rights to Dream Academy trainee manoeuvred his way through the Helsingborg defence before finishing off with a master class goal. He told Ghanasoccernet.com: �It was a fine game for me. I recovered from a slight injury and thank God I�m back to my very best. I hope to score more goals.� Warris was replaced after 66 minutes before and has scored two goals in 14 games this season. Elsehwere, Yusif Chibsah suffered an injury and was pulled off for Zakaria Abdullai in the eighth minute as his side Gefle beat Malmo 2-0 at home. Kevin-Prince Boateng picked up a shoulder injury and was replaced by Alexandre Pato in the 76th minute as Milan rallied to draw 2-2 at home with Lazio. In the Dutch second-tier league, Mitch Apau played full throttle for Veendam which secured a 2-2 draw at Go Ahead Eagles. Compatriot Jonathan Opoku was replaced on 89 minutes for Veendam. Kevin Tano replaced Mayele in the 70th minute as his side Dordrecht drew 3-3 with MVV at the home.
