Sack Ludwig Now - NDC Youth

A group of deputy regional youth organizers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have launched a blistering attack on the activities of Ludwig Hlodeze, national youth organizer of the party, calling for his head as a presidential aide. The group, who goes by the name Forum for All Deputy Regional Youth Organizers of the NDC, implored the president to kick out Ludwig immediately for the betterment of the party. Spokesperson of the group, Prince Iddrisu Mamoud, who is also the Upper West Regional youth organizer, pointed out that Ludwigs role as presidential aide was preventing him from working effectively as the NDC national youth organizer. This, he observed, was having adverse affects on the fortunes of the party, especially the youth wing, urging President Mills to sack Ludwig as his aide immediately. The group, drawn from the ten regions of the country, made the decision when they met for the first time in Kumasi last Saturday. The meeting was ostensibly organized toward addressing important issues affecting the NDC and what could be done to find a lasting solution to them. Iddrisu Mamoud said NDC youth across the country were not as vibrant as they should be due to Ludwigs lackadaisical attitude toward his work. Ludwigs attention is on the presidency rather than what he was elected by the over thousand party members of the NDC to do for the party, he stated, noting that the 2012 polls was gradually drawing near so the NDC should sit up before it was too late. Iddrisu Mamoud called on the president to release Ludwig to ensure that the NDC retained political power in the polls.Th e president should remove Ludwig as a presidential aide immediately so that he can get more time o concentrate on the affairs of the youth of the party and the NDC in general, he said. The group, after lengthy deliberations, also resolved that there should be sanity in the political terrain which was now full of insults and insinuations, notably from members of the NPP. They pointed at NPP national youth organizer Anthony Karbo for being the worst culprit of insults. Iddrisu chastised Karbo for usually using President Mills health condition to insult him on radio and called for a ceasefire. The personality attacks on the president dont bring development; it rather stalls development so Karbo and his colleagues should desist from insulting the president in the media. Meanwhile, Daily Guide has gathered that the NDC deputy regional youth organizers have vowed to storm the Western Region to hold another press conference and air their grievances if President Mills failed to sack Ludwig by October 14, 2011.
