Sir John Refutes Gabbys NPP No Brain Claim

The New Patriotic Party has described as untrue, claims that its leading members are not educating Ghanaians enough on the developmental policies delivered by the partys flagbearer, Nana Akufo Addo. The Executive Director of the Danquah Institute, Gabby Asare Otchere Darko lashed out at leading members of the NPP for doing little to project Nana Addos policy statements. Mr. Otchere Darko said that although Nana Addo had made several proposals on how he intends developing the country, those policies have not been explained properly to Ghanaians and this could cost the NPP in the 2012 elections. Reacting sharply to the Gabbys criticism, General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadjo Owusu Afriyie told Citi News, that Mr. Asare-Otchere Darkos pronouncements are premature. According to Mr. Owusu Afriyie, I believe it is Gabbys own understanding of what is going on but I am not sure Gabby is everywhere in the party and therefore he would not know exactly what is going on across the length and breadth of the party. I believe that we are to sell Nana Akufo Addo in the best way that we can, sometimes we may have to up the action, but so far the party is very happy. I can agree that we may have to do more because Nana Akufo-Addo said, the ineptitude of the NDC alone will not win us power, we need to ensure that we fight on all fronts to sell the party and what the party stands for, in order that the people of this country know clearly, that there is a great divide and gulf between the NPP and the NDC.
