Sekou Nkrumah Is A Confused And Immature Politician Allotey Jacobs

Director of Communications for the ruling NDC in the Central Region, Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has slammed former acting National Coordinator of the National Youth Council (NYC), Dr Sekou Nkrumah, for deciding to ditch the ruling party describing him as a confused and immature politician. Sekou Nkrumah is a novice in politics and does not understand the dynamics of Ghanaian politics, yet he is forcing himself into the political spectrum of this country. Just because his father made it in politics, he thinks he can too, he said. The Son of Ghanas first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, on Tuesday, September 13, shocked political pundits by announcing his resignation from the NDC, because he felt his role in the party had become somewhat insignificant. Other reasons he assigned for his resignations were that his continuous stay in the NDC is a stumbling block to the progress of her sister, Samia Nkrumah, who was recently elected National Chairman of the Convention Peoples Party; to rebuild party. Contributing to discussions on Peace FMs Kokrokoo Morning Show, Allotey Jacobs posited that Sekous resignation will not in any way affect the fortunes of the ruling party and might rather be a blessing in disguise. He rubbished accusations by Sekou that the Atta Mills administration is not making enough dynamic moves to change the lives of Ghanaians and has also deviated from the partys Social Democratic agenda. Sekou is accusing the NDC of having a fumbling leader; he himself is always fumbling...I see him as a confused and immature politician. Maybe the sister will need to educate him a lot because for her to win Jomoro seat and the CPP chairmanship means she is humble, has a listening ear and good advisors. Sekou is however entitled to his own opinions but as far as the NDC is concerned, we will grow stronger day by day, when one goes out, thousands comes in, he stressed.
