Reports reaching Peacefmonline.com indicates that an accident has occurred on the Accra -Sogakope road claiming the lives of about thirteen (13) people (unconfirmed though by the police). According to an eyewitness, Evelyn, the accident which involved a 207 Benz bus, an Urvan mini-bus with registration number GT 8823 G and a trailer, occured right in front of the Ghallywood (African Film Village), just after the Tsopoli Police Barrier on the Accra/Afienya/Sogakope road. Speaking to Peace news, the eyewitness said the Urvan mini-bus which was heading from Sogakope to Accra crashed into the stationary trailer in front of the Ghallywood (African Film Village), and moments after, the Benz bus rammed into the mini Urvan. "...some thirteen(13) people died and two (2) others seriously injured have all been conveyed to the Tema General Hospital...and the 37 Military Hospital," Evelyn said. The police and the ambulance service are reported to be at the scene of the accident. More soon....
