Frances Essiam Attacked

The residence of political firebrand Frances Essiam was on Tuesday September 20, attacked by some unknown men suspected to be armed robbers ransacking the entire house. The identities of the robbers are unknown but Frances Essiam described the act as a political hitback. Narrating what happened on Citi FM, she said she got home around 4pm to prepare for the John Agyekum Kufuor Foundation launch but to her amazement realized that someone had broken into the house through the back door. I opened my front gate, I asked my driver and my special assistant to bring my things and the car into the house so I could change because we were already behind time. They just opened the trap door it opened, they opened the kitchen door it opened but all my entrances otherwise were secured. So it was strange that the kitchen door just opened. But then we went in and from the kitchen to the hall, bathroom, toilet, everywhere had been ransacked. My master bedroom, my wardrobe everything had been poured out and I think the police would give out pictures because pictures were taken. The most worrying thing was the packet of matches which had been put on top of the pile of clothing. My entire wardrobe had been emptied and the match was put on top of the things. The NPP MP hopeful for the Adenta constituency who has been staying at her Adenta residence since 2007, told Citi News that she has lodged a complaint at the Adenta Police station and investigations have already began. The robbers are believed to have made away with jewelries, a bag packed with cloth, a laptop and a few valuables. Frances Essiam becomes the third NPP member to be attacked after similar attacks were carried on the residence of the Youth Organizer, Anthony Karbo and Samuel Awuku a deputy Communications Director of the NPP
