Asamoah Gyan Marks UAE Debut With Victory Over Dubai FC

The 25-year-old came on in the 60th minute as his side run away with the victory. The Ghana international attacker did not score but was involved in a situation that could have resulted in a goal for his side. He fired a shot which the goalkeeper managed to save in the away game for Gyan�s club. The only other notable incident involving the Ghanaian player was when an opponent intentionally threw ball aimed at Gyan. TheDubaiplayer received a second yellow card and his marching orders for that attack on Gyan. Al Ain coach has stated that he will slowly ease Gyan into competition in the UAE to avoid injuries. Gyan made the controversial move last month and announced his readiness for a new challenge in the Gulf after playing in Europe.
