Nigeria�s Goodluck Jonathan Due In Ghana Today

President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria is due in Ghana on Friday to hold talks with President John Evans Atta-Mills. While in Ghana, the Nigerian president would be conferred with an honorary doctorate degree by the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, as part of the celebration of its Golden Jubilee. The 14th president of the west African power-house would also be hosted to a State Banquet by his Ghanaian counterpart at the seat of government, the Osu Castle, in the capital, Accra. The Head of Communications at the presidency, Koku Anyidoho, told Citi News all is set to welcome the current chairman of the Economic Community of West African States as both countries look forward to fashion out strategies for the good of the sub-region. President Jonathan is being accompanied by Senator Andy Uba; Honourable Ibrahim El-Sudi; Amba-ssador Olugbenga Ashiru, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Labaran Maku, Minister of Information and Dr Olusegun Aganga, Minister of Trade and Investment. Others on the entourage include Mr Aigboje Aig-Imokhuede, Managing Director of Access Bank; Alhaji Aliko Dangote of Dangote Group; Mr Jim Ovia, founder of Visafone and Mr Tony Elumelu of the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
