uniBank Appreciates Customers

uniBank is beginning its Customer Appreciation Week celebration today to recognise clients for their loyalty during the 10 years in which it has established its solid footprints in the Ghanaian banking industry. The celebration, according to a statement from the bank, is under the theme 10 Years of Passionate Customer Service. The bank, which is a wholly-owned Ghanaian business incorporated in December 1997, opened its door to customers in January 2001 - starting with a broad portfolio of banking services. The statement from the bank said: a careful blend of vision, efficiency, discipline and hard work has resulted in a young bank basking in accolades ranging from being awarded six times for its excellent advisory services, six awards for customer care, three awards for best-growing bank and others. It said it has during its decade of operation built a rich portfolio of varied and impressive products which cater to the needs of all its client-segments. It therefore intends to use the celebration to appreciate clients and deepen their understanding of the banks business, while enlightening potential customers on the range of services and products it offers in order to enhance its impact in their financial lives and businesses. We have Esteem Banking, a market-driven world-class retail banking product that offers solutions to busy, high net-worth individuals; uniChild accounts which offer parents a flexible and attractive means of accumulating wealth towards their childrens education and other needs; uniSave accounts for individuals and small businesses; and a fixed-deposit account for long-term investors, the statement said. Others include personal loans for salaried workers; the uniFund account, which is a current- and savings-account hybrid; the uniChurch place of worship loan-scheme; and foreign-exchange accounts that are protected from rate fluctuations, afford the convenience of issuing cheques and provide flexibility in funds-transfers across currencies. CEO Felix Nyarko-pong said he is excited about uniBanks success in the last decade, with notable investments in ICT that have improved the efficiency of its services. Our e-Banking products and services are unique. They are safe, user-friendly and convenient, and are available 24/7 - enabling individuals to save time and do banking at their convenience. We have also put in place an efficient structure so as to provide better customer care, and generate enhanced satisfaction to our teeming customers, he remarked.
