Ex-Liberty Professionals assistant coach Nii Noi Thompson has been appointed head coach of second-tier side Tarkwa United, GHANAsoccernet.com understands.
The ex-Pure Joy boss has signed a two-year renewable contract with the Division One zone 2B side with an aim to qualify them to the elite division next term.
He will bring a wealth of experience to bear on the team ahead of the start of the league on 6 December.
The club have confirmed the capture of ex-Asante Kotoko and AshantiGold players Frederick Quayson and Marvin King.
Other high profile names that have joined the club include ex-Heart of Lions rasta-haired Bob Zeul, Eric Owusu and Solomon Bentum.
Tarkwa United missed out of qualification to the Premier League last season after finishing second in the zonal promotional-offs.
