His Excellency Esteban Lazo Hernandez, Vice President of Cuba arrives in Accra this evening to begin a three-day visit. Whiles in Accra, the Vice President will meet the President of Ghana, His Excellency Professor John Evans Atta Mills. He will also call on the Vice President Mr. John Dramani Mahama, the Speaker of Parliament and the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He will also deliver a lecture on �Ghana-Cuba Friendship And Solidarity� at the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 4:00pm. Mr. Lazo is an agricultural worker with a bachelor�s degree in economics. He was born on February 26, 1944 and is married with one daughter. He is currently a member of the Police Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba, in charge of the Ideological and cultural departments and the religious affairs office.
