Ghana Govt Sued

A legal suit has been filed against the government of Ghana for endangering the lives of Ghanaians in the wake of the outbreak of the H1N1 pandemic. The United Love Party (ULP) led by Mr. Ramon Akoto, filed the writ. In a statement of claim dated 4th October 2011, the plaintiff is demanding an order for special and general damages for wrongfully injecting millions of people with a fake pandemic vaccine which killed thousands of people and injured millions. Some of the injuries were swollen faces, swollen tongues, crippling, buzzing sound in the ears, instant cold, persistent headaches, cold. Others who received the injection are at risk of suffering countless number of diseases including going mad and many more. The plaintiff is also demanding an order to provide Anti-Viral drug for all HINI vaccine patients/recipients and to recall all vaccines in Ghana including tuberculosis (BCG), poliomyelitis, measles, yellow fever, DTP, Hepatitis B and Heamophilus Influenza B, Elephantiasis vaccines and malaria vaccine for further investigations. The fact of the case is that on June 14 2010, defendants allowed into Ghana some dangerous drugs and on philanthropic basis started injecting innocent people. It was later detected the drug had expired and not suitable for human treatment. As a result lots of Ghanaians lost their lives, others who had strong resistances turned deaf, others had swollen head, and others had their tongues protruding outside while the rest are at risk of going mad. Aggrieved by this the party has filed this action in this august court praying for compensation of GHC2.3 million to be shared to the bereaved families of the deceased as a result of the injection of those drugs. Ghanas minister of health at the time and the Ghana health services emphasized that H1N1 vaccine was safe even with all the injuries and death worldwide. According to the plaintiff, Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg, chairman of the council of Europe health committee reported that there is no influenza in the hot countries and therefore it is not possible for influenza virus to spread very fast and kill millions of people in Ghana causing a pandemic because of the climate. This report makes us believe that the influenza case at Mfanstipim Senior High School in the Central Region was fabricated.
