Although it was a night of glam and glitter at the 2011 Hiphop World Awards, Ghana�s favorites, R2Bees and VIP failed to make an impact as they lost out on awards to 2face Idibia, MI, and other Nigerian acts like Mo Hits� Don Jazzy, Dare and Waje.
Perhaps the show being held in its homestead was a plus, nonetheless, the show, otherwise known as the �Headies� as usual lived up to expectation.

However, it was 2face Idibia who took the three top awards, Artist of the Year, Best R&B/Pop Album and Album of the Year.
