Gaddafi's Son 'Ready To Surrender'

MAD Dog Gaddafi's son Saif al-Islam and former intelligence chief Abdullah al-Senussi plan to surrender to the International Criminal Court. Reports last night said they were ready to stand trial because they could not find a country willing to give them shelter. Saif al-Islam has been on the run since his father was killed in his hometown of Sirte a week ago. He is thought to be hiding near Libya's southern border, which he planned to cross to join other members of his family in neighbouring Niger. But the government there is said to be "asking too much money" to let him stay. Both men are wanted by the war crimes court, as was Colonel Gaddafi. A spokesman for Libya's National Transitional Council said: "They propose to hand themselves over to The Hague."
