CPP Youth League Intensifies Campaign For Nduom

The Youth League of the Convention Peoples Party (CPP) has intensified its campaign to canvass votes for Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, the partys presidential candidate for the 2008 elections. Mr Richard Nii Amarh, a leader of the youth league, said Dr Nduoms campaign team aims at bringing together energetic young people who form majority of the population to help the party in its efforts. Mr Amarh said this when addressing a meeting of young volunteers who had joined the party in Takoradi, adding that since Ghanaians have tested and tried the two other major political parties being the NDC and the NPP it was now the turn of the CPP. He said the CPP under the governance of Dr Nduom would transform all sectors of the economy to bring relief to Ghanaians. Mr Amarh said the party has undergone a process of self-reflection over past events and has rectified emerging challenges and it was quite ready for the 2012 presidential and parliamentary elections. Mr Kwesi Debrah Darkwa, leader of the Tarkwa branch of the tertiary education chapter, called on Ghanaians to dispel the erroneous notion that the CPP has no place in the political circles, as it was quite prepared to win the elections. He said Dr Nduoms humility, love, and pro-activeness must inspire all Ghanaians to vote for him for a better Ghana.
